Death ruled a homicide in shooting death of three-year-old

LaPorte County, Ind. A three-year-old boy is dead after a game gone wrong, and his death has been ruled a homicide.

An autopsy was performed Monday on 3-year-old Lance Wilson. Coroner John Sullivan tells us Wilson died by a single gunshot to the head, after the two were playing a so-called game.

24-year-old Zachariah Grisham, the live-in boyfriend of Wilson's mother has been charged in the case. Wilson reportedly pointed a fake gun at Grisham, and then Grisham pointed a real gun, and pulled the trigger.

Grisham is facing charges of reckless homicide and neglect of a dependent.

Sullivan says even if Wilson did not intend to the kill the boy, the shooting still had to be ruled a homicide, because Grisham took another person's life.
