Two people were killed in a rollover accident Wednesday morning in White Pigeon Twp.
At around 6:40 a.m. officials from St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Dept. were dispatched to Fawn River Rd. near Crooked Creek Rd. after receiving a reported one car accident.
Police say the driver, Kirk Wayne Miller, 30, was heading west on Fawn River Rd. when he lost control of his vehicle and it rolled.
Two of the six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene and a third was airlifted to Bronson Hospital for further treatment. Officials are withholding the names of the victims until family members have been contacted.
The crash remains under investigation, but officials say that not every passenger was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
