South Bend, Ind. A man who says he would do anything he could for the area's catholic schools, was honored Monday.
Daniel Fitzpatrick was given the 2013 Colonel Jack Stephens Citizenship Award at Notre Dame's McKenna Hall.
Fitzpatrick is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Quality Dining, a restaurant holding company that started with two Burger Kings, and now holds hundreds of franchises in multiple states.
The Michiana chapter of Military Officers Association says Fitzpatrick has been an active participant in local schools and organizations.
“My organization has attempted to be involved and a part of the community, as a citizen and a good and contributing citizens,” says Daniel B. Fitzpatrick the 2013 Colonel Jack Stephens Citizenship Award Winner. “We have put organizations at our priority, to serve.”
Past award winners include Ara Parseghian, Judge Robert Miller, Congressman Joe Donnelly and Chuck Hurley.
