SOUTH BEND St. Patrick's Day is still five days away, but South Bend is already getting in the spirit.

Deputy Mayor Mark Neal will rename the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Niles Avenue on Wednesday. It will temporarily be known as St. Patrick's Boulevard.

Weekend activities kick off Friday with the annual tent party and pub tour. The parade steps off Saturday at 11, marching along Jefferson Boulevard. The greening of the St. Joseph River will take place right after the parade, at Seitz Park.
