COLUMBIA CITY There’s great news for a high school football player who was injured in a game Friday against Warsaw.
Columbia City senior Sam Dailey was taken to the hospital in critical condition for a head injury that caused a blood clot on his brain.
The football captain had several surgeries at a Fort Wayne hospital to reduce brain swelling. His condition was updated to “fair” on Monday.
Dailey is a running back and linebacker for the Columbia City Eagles.
