Crime Watch: Ronnie Ciesielski

On May 28, 1994, South Bend police responded to a 9-1-1 call at 265 N. Kenmore.

A woman reported that three black males forced their way into the house and shot 19-year-old Ronnie Ciesielski in the head. Ciesielski was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police need more information in order to charge the suspects in this case. To report an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers at (574) 288-STOP or (800) 342-STOP. You may be eligible for a reward if your information leads to an arrest.

And a reminder that Michiana Area Crime Stoppers will host its annual shred event this weekend. It will be on Saturday, May 18 from 8 a.m. to noon at Martin's Supermarket in Erskine Plaza, South Bend. You can have your documents shredded for a minimum $10 donation. The money raised will go to further crime fighting efforts at Crime Stoppers.
