2 hospitalized in South Bend 3-car crash

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of 28th Street and Mishawaka Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

Crews had to cut one man out of a vehicle, but he was reportedly conscious and talking on his way to the hospital.

The driver of another vehicle was injured when she slammed into the steering wheel.

Occupants inside a third car were not injured.

The extent of the two injuries and cause of the crash are currently unknown.
