Prosecutors say Jennifer Leveque helped Steven Clippinger in the double murder of his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Lisa Clippinger, in June 2012 at their Mishawaka home.

On April 15, Leveque, 41, attempted to plead guilty as charged to assisting a criminal, a class C felony, and transfer of handgun to a felon, a class C felony.

The matter was set for sentencing Friday.

However, the court rejected Leveque's previous guilty plea, as Leveque would not admit she knew that Steven Clippinger was a convicted felon when she transferred the handgun to him, as required in count II.

The court re-set this matter for trial, and the hearing dates are:
Record: August 19, 2014
Trial: September 8, 2014

Leveque was charged on June 2, 2012, in connection with the double homicide of Matthew and Lisa Clippinger in the early morning hours of June 2, 2012.

Steven Clippinger was also charged in this matter with two counts of murder and one count of serious violent felon in possession of a firearm.

Additionally, the State filed an amended information requesting the sentence enhancement of life imprisonment without parole (LWOP) for Clippinger.

Clippinger has a record date of September 15, 2014, and a bench trial scheduled before Judge Frese on September 29, 2014.
