BERRIEN COUNTY Berrien County police are barred from shooting at their own gun range, following a hearing on a contempt of court charge.

A 2008 court order prevents police from using the Coloma Rod and Gun Club for shooting, but they say they were unaware of that ruling when they built the new range this fall.

According to WSJM, the county is now trying to modify that order, to allow firearms training.
