SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- After a controversial Facebook post by a South Bend Common Council member, another councilman has proposed new social media guidelines.

Councilman Tim Scott released 25 guidelines today.

Scott says the guidelines are an attempt to have a citywide policy for those working for the City of South Bend.

The guidelines include using disclaimers, and assuming everything that's posted will become public.

They will be voted on by the Information & Technology Committee.

Last night, council president Oliver Davis decided not to take disciplinary action against Henry Davis Junior for posting a vulgar photo on his Facebook page.
