Mishawaka, Ind. Right now all indications are that a Costco could be coming to Mishawaka.
According to Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood, the warehouse-type super store would be built on University Dr. It would be east of Super Target next to Summer Place Apartments.
Costco has already filed the paperwork with the plan commission. They will need to rezone the area for retail and automobile needs.
There will be a public hearing, and it will go on to the city council sometime in December. City leaders could not say when Costco could be open for business.
Wood says the store has shown interest in moving to the area for the past year.
