The city of South Bend has unveiled a whole new look on the world wide web, that is.
Friday morning Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced the launch of the city's revamped website.
The new design is more interactive and visually-appealing.
Plus, it highlights the most visited areas of the website, making it much easier for residents to get the information they need when they need it, whether it’s paying the monthly utility bill or finding something fun to do.
But the mayor says the new site doesn't just tailor to folks currently living here..
He's hoping it will also attract businesses, students and visitors to south bend.
"It's also the best face we can put forward for the outside--so the people that don't live here, who are trying to find out what South Bend is all about, have an easy way to learn a little bit about what we do, what we like, and why they should engage with our city,” the mayor said.
The mayor said this is all part of a larger, long-term initiative to enhance technology and efficiency throughout the city administration.
