BENTON HARBOR Benton Harbor High School's marching band never got to finish their last performance at the Blossomtime Parade because crowds started grabbing their instruments, demanding that they dance. That's according to The Herald Palladium.

The city manager is apologizing for the security breakdown and working to get the band another opportunity to perform. He is aiming for a nighttime performance during the Community Concert Series, which will be in City Center Park on May 21-23.

The manager says the city will take extra precautions at next year's Blossomtime Parade to make sure this type of incident doesn't happen again.
