Children in home when police make bust for meth lab

Winona Lake, Ind. Two kids were in a home when police busted a meth lab operation Tuesday night in Kosciusko County.

In all, four people were arrested at the Fair Lane Trailer Park on Wooster Road in Winona Lake around 8 p.m.

Christy Bodkin and Joseph Werand were the property renters; they face charges of maintaining a common nuisance. Bodkin is also facing neglect of a dependent.

Todd Raney of Rochester is charged with meth possession and aid in manufacturing, and James Page is charged with visiting a common nuisance.

A one pot meth lab was found in the home as well as paraphernalia. Trained officers were called in to clean it up.

Two kids, ages 9 and 10, were taken to child protective services for a medical checkup.
