An Amtrak train, carrying more than 200 people, has arrived in Chicago after being stranded in Berrien County for more than eight hours.

CHICAGO An Amtrak train, carrying more than 200 people, has arrived in Chicago after being stranded in Berrien County for more than eight hours.

The train's engine lost power Sunday due to the cold weather.

Thankfully, heat, lights and restrooms still worked. The train took off from Pontiac and stopped between Niles and New Buffalo.

Amtrak connected it to another westbound train Monday to get it moving.
