SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Charges have been filed in a shooting that took place at a Phillips 66 in South Bend.

Both Isaiah Mark Samelton, 19, and Juwan Shakir Jones, 18, have been charged with Attempted Murder, a level 1 felony and Aggravated Battery, a level 3 felony.

The charges stem from a shooting that took place on July 9 at a Phillips 66 in the 3400 block of W. Western Ave.

South Bend Police Officers arrived at the gas station and found 20 shell casings in the parking lot.

Surveillance footage showed two males in a Buick shooting at an individual who exited the store.

That person was identified as Willie Menyard, who was later treated for injuries at the hospital.

SBPD officers came across that same Buick a short time later and took both passengers into custody.

Both suspects are being held on $150,000 bond at the St. Joseph County Jail.
