SOUTH BEND, Ind. Charges have been filed against a man prosecutors say led police on a high speed chase Monday.
Clester Burt, 34, the third is facing four charges, including two felonies.
Prosecutors charged Burt with never having a driver's license, causing serious bodily injury while operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, and resisting law enforcement.
It all started around 5:30 p.m. Monday when a South Bend officer tried to pull a Cadillac over for false plates.
The car allegedly fled the scene and hit two parked cars before hitting a car that was driving along Michigan.
Burt reportedly blew a stop sign at High and Ewing, hitting another three parked cars and injuring a pedestrian.
