Cass County man electrocuted

Cass County, Mich. A Michiana man was electrocuted while trying to install a metal TV tower, according to police.

Just after 6:30 Thursday evening, emergency crews arrived to the 30000-block of Middle Crossing Road in Cass County.

Timothy Curtis, his son Jonathon and a juvenile were working on the installation when the tower touched overhead power lines and shocked Timothy and Jonathon.

They were both knocked unconscious. The juvenile called 911.

Jonathon regained consciousness and started CPR on his dad with help from dispatchers. When the ambulance arrived, though, first responders continued CPR but they could not revive Timothy. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jonathon was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
