The trial of an Elkhart man charged with a January shooting in Cass County is scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
40-year-old Kevin Vint is charged with four felonies including attempted murder for shooting 44-year-old Trevor Claire.
The shooting allegedly happened after a fight over a woman and an apparent love triangle.
Five men, including Vint and Claire were working on their cars inside a heated barn back on January 22, 2012.
Vint pulled out a pistol on Five Points Road in Cass County and allegedly shot Claire in the leg and chest.
