A semi driver is finally free from the wreckage of a crash Tuesday, after his truck collided head-on with a car in Marshall County.
The driver of the car was rushed to the hospital right after the accident on US 6 and Thorn Rd., outside Walkerton.
Authorities have not released any information about her injuries.
The driver of the semi was trapped inside his vehicle for more than an hour, because of power lines that came down in the crash.
He was not hurt.
Since a utility pole was involved, some residents in the area lost power, but I&M now has them back online.
Officers on the scene say it could still take hours to clear the scene, and drivers should avoid the area.
