Monday is the final day for applications to fill the vacant seat on the Mishawaka City Council, and the St. Joseph County Republican Party will hold a caucus to replaced Commissioner-Elect Marsha McClure in the 4th district.
Anyone interested in becoming a candidate for the vacated Council seat must file a letter of intent with the GOPSJC by 6:30 p.m. Monday, December 17 to the South Bend Republican headquarters at 4133 S. Main St.
A forum for candidates will take place later on in the week on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Gridiron Communications.
