ST. JOSEPH Plans have once again been delayed for a CVS Pharmacy that developers want to build at a controversial location in St. Joseph.
They were supposed to make their case to the planning commission Thursday, but The Herald Palladium reports that they asked to delay that presentation until May.
Neighbors have protested against building the pharmacy at the site of the Florin Funeral Home on Niles Avenue. They are concerned about traffic and noise.
The developers say they need more time to address those concerns and revise their building plan. They still hope to begin construction this summer and finish by the end of the year.
