South Bend, Ind. More children are waiting for a CASA volunteer in St. Joseph County than anywhere else in the Hoosier state.
CASA stands for "Court Appointed Special Advocate". Volunteers are trained to act as advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children in our area. But nearly five hundred kids in St. Joseph County are still in need of help.
There is a training session coming up on Tuesday, July 8. To contact CASA and sign up, you can call them at (574) 233-CASA (or 2272). You can also visit their website.
