A Bristol man is dead after an accident on Saturday morning.
It happened around 4:45 a.m. on C.R. 23 near C.R. 14 in Bristol.
Police say Jared Lay, 22, driving northbound when his Jeep Wrangler suddenly left the roadway, went into a ditch and hit a tree stump, a mailbox and a post, throwing Lay from the vehicle.
The jeep then continued to hit another mailbox and tree before finally rolling over on its side.
Lay was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say he had not been wearing his seat belt.
