Brand new tornado sirens have been installed in Bristol.
According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, the new sirens sit on either side of town and sound at 130 decibels.
The sirens cost Bristol $50,000 which was pulled from their rainy day fund.
The sirens are located at the Raber Golf Course and Oak Ridge Cemetery. They will be sounded by the county’s public safety communications center.
They will join the current siren at the Bristol Fire Department.
