Punishment has been put on hold for a postal worker who tried to steal Christmas—or at least some of the presents.
20 year old postal delivery worker Harold Leroy Snyder III of Bremen earlier admitted that he opened some mail and removed gift cards and cash.
The crimes took place during the Christmas rush of 2012, last November and December.
Snyder was to be sentenced in federal court today, but that was put on hold when the judge learned that Snyder violated the substance abuse portion of his pre-trial release agreement.
Sentencing has been re-set for December 13th, and the judge told Snyder to “clean up his act.”
