ELKHART, Ind.--- According to our reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth, the court has increased the bond for two people who own several of the gas stations that were shut down last week.

Gurcharn Singh and Jaswinder Kaur were being held on $500,000 bond, and Kaur tried to post that bond yesterday.

But the prosecutor says that because the pair is in the country illegally they could be deported if they make bail.

That means they'd be gone before the county finishes its investigation.

So the court raised both suspects' bond to $5 million each.
