ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. - A coroner has ruled there was no foul play in the death of an elderly Elkhart County man, who was found on the side of the road on Tuesday.
According to Cpt. James Bradberry a county highway worker discovered the body at around 1:40 p.m. County emergency units responded and cleared the scene, however sheriff's deputies remained to investigate.
The man was 72-years old, but officials are withholding his name until they notify family.
An investigation revealed the man had left home for a walk shortly before he was found.
The Elkhart County coroner has since ruled that he died of natural causes.
