Blue-Gold game holds moment of silence for Boston victims

Notre Dame held a moment of silence for the victims of the Boston bombings before Saturday's Blue-Gold Game.

"Our prayers continue for the victims, their families and their friends as well as the many alumni, students and parents from the greater Boston Area," Public Address Announcer Mike Collins told the more than 31,000 fans that were on hand for Notre Dame's 84th Spring Game.

Irish head coach Brian Kelly is a Boston area native and the team wore special decals on the back of their helmets with a Boston "B" inside a green shamrock
