A controversial bill that would allow guns to be stored in vehicles on school property was not voted on in the House in the General Assembly.
The bill gathered some attention when it passed the Senate back in January. It would allow guns to be stored in vehicles on school property.
Right now it's a felony in Indiana to bring a firearm onto school property. The bill would change that, allowing anyone of legal baring age to keep a gun in their car while in the parking lot.
Critics say it would compromise student safety.
