A committee charged with looking at whether the village of Berrien Springs should pursue becoming a city has recommended not making the switch, according to our reporting partners at WSJM.
The Berrien Springs Village council heard from the Steering committee yesterday.
But despite their “no” recommendation, the final say is up to the village council.
They can always look at the issue again at a later time.
