Berrien County, Mich. The Berrien County Board has postponed a vote on whether or not to take over the struggling Road Commission.
The board met to discuss the issue Thursday afternoon, after holding two public meetings earlier this month.
The Road Commission's been caught up in controversy for years after accusations of poor management and hostile work conditions.
The board was asked to take action to correct the human resources issues. Louis Csokasy started his job as the new director Wednesday.
Now, the commission will be given time to make some positive changes. The County Board will revisit the issue of whether to take the commission over in March.
