Benton Harbor Benton Harbor Area Schools have voted to extend their superintendent's contract.
They added two extra years to their agreement with Dr. Leonard Seawood during a meeting Monday night.
There were two votes opposed to the extension, and one board member expressed concern over deciding too fast. However, others argued it was important to promote consistency. In light of the state's pending decision on whether to declare a financial emergency.
According to our reporting partners at WSJM , Seawood will keep his same salary of $126,000.
