BENTON HARBOR, Ind.--- The trial of a Benton Harbor activist has been postponed until October.

Edward Pinkney was scheduled to go in front of a judge on July 21, but according to our reporting partners at WSJM Radio, Pinkney’s trial is being pushed back to October.

During yesterday's hearing there were concerns about Pinkney's lawyer handling complicated cases back-to-back.

Pinkney is facing multiple charges in the election fraud case for allegedly altering the dates on petitions to recall Benton Harbor mayor James Hightower.
