Benefit fund set up for Osceola crash victim

OSCEOLA, Ind. -- The family of 24-year-old Amanda Ezra is seeking donations to help cover funeral costs.

The mother of three died in a bizarre accident early Sunday morning in Osceola.

Police say 23-year-old Kyle Papa was driving Ezra and three others home from a party on Chestnut Street.

Charging documents claim he'd been drinking and using marijuana.

Papa went over the curb in a cul-de-sac as Ezra was vomiting out the passenger side window. As he drove in between a utility pole and the wire holding it up, Ezra hit her head on the wire and then on the van. She died of multiple blunt force traumas.

Family members say donations can be made to the Amanda Ezra Benefit Fund at any First Source Bank or Community Wide Federal Credit Union.
