Two people were hospitalized and in critical condition after a crash involving a motorcycle and car in Mishawaka.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the 700 block of Lincolnway East.

Mishawaka officers responded to the crash and found two people injured, one with a serious head injury. Both were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

The injured parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Reports show that the Harley Davidson was traveling east on Lincolnway when it struck a parked, empty Jeep Wrangler.

It appears that alcohol is a factor in the incident. This crash remains under investigation and the Mishawaka Police Department is asking any other witnesses of this injury crash to contact Capt. Tim Spencer, or Sgt. Scott Parker at 574-259-2966.

The names of both parties have not been released at this time.
