A Wednesday afternoon crash involving a pedestrian has police worried about the upcoming weeks, especially as students pour back into South Bend.
A woman was hit around 2 p.m. in Roseland on State Road 933, near the Cheers Lounge and Phillips 66 gas station.
Witnesses say the woman was struck after a car turned left onto 933 from Pendle. She had the right away.
The woman was taken to the hospital to be check out, but the extent of her injuries remains unknown.
Police on scene told Newscenter 16 they're concerned about the possibility of more accidents in this area, since a new student housing building has been built.
