An armed robbery in South Bend is currently under investigation by South Bend Police.
The most surprising part of the incident was the suspects’ choice of weapons. Police say the suspects were carrying golf clubs as they robbed a woman on Notre Dame Ave. at around 10:20 last night.
The victim was heading south on her bike when she was approached by two men armed with golf clubs. One of the men told her to “give me your money,” and tried to threaten her with the club.
The suspects did not get away with much cash, but police have not been able to locate them.
