Argos woman faces possible charges after dumping dog

Marshall County, Ind. An Argos woman is facing possible animal cruelty charges after admitting to dumping a dog on the side of the road last week.

According to police, Kim Paul went to the Marshall County Humane Society on July 16 to drop off a dog that she didn’t want anymore, but was told they were full, so she left. A while later, a man came to the same shelter with the same dog, saying he saw it get dumped in front of his house on 19th Rd.

That man helped the shelter locate the car and woman he saw dumping the dog, a terrier mix named Lily, and they called the Marshall County Sheriff’s Dept.

When officers talked to the woman, she admitted to the incident saying she had been given the dog by her daughter in February and could not keep it anymore because it was destructive.
