Mishawka junior Anna Rohrer won the 5K at the New Balance National Championships in Greensboro North Carolina with a blistering time of 16:16.97.

Rohrer ran with the pack for the first half of the race before pulling away and winning the race easily, finishing a full thirty seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher.

Anna is now a two time national champion having won the Footlocker cross country national championship in 2012.

While any national title is impressive Anna's is even more impressive when you consider the fact that an injury forced her to miss the entire cross country season. She didn't return to running until January 1st.
