Ang in LA: Irish players want to get ND to National Championship

Angelo took a ride on West Coaster rollercoaster on the Santa Monica pier to show us what it would mean for ND to play for a National Championship again.

It's been a rollercoaster ride for the Irish for the last 20 years, but now Notre Dame it in control of that ride. One win away from playing for the National Championship.

If Notre Dame beats USC Saturday night, the Irish will be heading to Miami for the Championship game on January 7th. The Irish haven't had a national title since 1988. So, what would it mean to get to the title game?

"It would mean a lot. It would complete the entire reason I came here." - Braxton Cave

"It would mean everything. It's something we all dreamed about since we were kids." - John Goodman

"This is the last game, not only is it the last game but it's also a game where we can actually do something and take this program to places it hasn't been in a long time." - Manti Te'o

"To define a moment in life, I wouldn't even say it's a once in a lifetime opportunity because many times its not an opportunity for many guys. It's a chance to make dreams a reality. It's just motivation." - Bennett Jackson

The Irish are hoping when the train stops, they'll still be Number 1.
