The president of Andrews University, located in Berrien Springs literally suited up Thursday afternoon and took a plunge in the campus pool for a good cause.
Back in September, Dr. Neils-Erik Andreason challenged the faculty and staff at Andrews to double their participation in the school's United Way campaign.
If they raised more than $10,000, he pledged to jump into the Andrews University pool with his full suit on.
They far surpassed that goal, with 132 employee donors giving a combined total of $14,000.
So Thursday Dr. Andreason - wearing a suit as promised - took the big plunge to celebrate the success of their campaign, with students, staff, and several folks from the United Way cheering him on.
