Amish school teachers get safety lesson from police

With school shootings becoming more common, no one is immune.

That's why Indiana State Police troopers traveled to dozens of schools in the Amish community, teaching students and teachers what to do if they ever face such a dangerous situation.

There are more than 100 Amish schools in Elkhart, Kosciusko, and LaGrange Counties.

Most have just a couple dozen students, and they're typically located just a few miles apart, since Amish students cannot drive to class.
