An Edwardsburg man is dead after crashing his car into a tree early Thursday morning.
It happened just before 2 a.m. on Conrad Road just south of May St. in Edwardsburg. Officers say Caleb Marcin, 29, was speeding when he lost control, left the road and hit a tree.
A passerby called 911. There were no other passengers inside the car at the time of the accident.
Police say alcohol is a factor. Marcin was wearing a seatbelt.
