A driver has been arrested after driving his car off the road and into the yards of two St. Joseph County residents.
Shortly after 4 a.m., emergency crews were called out to the 17600 block of Innisbrook Lane in St. Joseph County.
Crews found a vehicle trapped by landscape rocks in the yard of one of the residents.
The driver was heading west on Innisbrook when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and onto the front yard of a house. It then stuck hit the porch, causing some minor damage.
The car eventually made it back to the road, but not for long.
The driver ended up driving across the road and into the yard on the opposite side of the road. There it knocked down a mail box and got stuck on several large landscape rocks.
No one was injured during this collision.
Deputies arrested the driver at the scene. They have yet to release the name of the driver.
Police say it appears alcohol played a role in the crash.
