Alarm clock app shames users on Facebook

Today it seems like there is a smart phone app for just about everything – even providing motivation to get out of bed early in the morning.

The app is made for the snooze button smashers, for whom rolling out of bed next to impossible, and for parents who are tired of yelling at their teenagers to get up in the morning. It’s called Better Me.

Essentially it is an alarm clock complete with a snooze button. But you might want to think twice before hitting the inviting red button. Every punch of the snooze comes complete with a dose of public shaming.

As soon as you hit the little red button, a message is sent to your Facebook timeline, alerting all friends that you are weak and in capable of getting up on time.

The app allows you to give your alarm a name and schedule the days you want it to go off. You also have the option to wake up to a ringtone, song or a custom recorded message.

Best of all, Better Me is free! It’s a real win/win for everyone, providing you don't hit snooze.
