Thousands are without power after storms battered Michiana Wednesday afternoon.

I&M is reporting that nearly 5,000 customers are without power as of 6:00 p.m. There is no word yet on when power will be restored.

For updated information about outages, visit I&M's website at www.indianamichiganpower.com/outages.

Many areas in Michiana are dealing with significant flooding. Pictures from Niles show streets covered with half of foot of water.

Avoid driving through these areas if possible. The water can be much deeper than it appears, and there may be hidden objects that could damage your car.

The following is a collection of viewer pictures that showcase the damage caused by Tuesday's storms. Please add your own photos by clicking on the album and sharing in the comments.
