You can sign up to adopt a Michiana family and make their holidays brighter. The Salvation Army of St. Joseph County and the Kroc Center are asking you to get involved.
All of the information will be available at Kroc Fest on November 2nd. It runs from 4 to 9p.m. You can also sign up online until December 5th.
Sign ups for those in need of assistance begin next week. Applications are accepted Monday through Friday at the Kroc Center Chapel, from 9 to 12:30p.m. and 1:30 to 5:00p.m. Applicants must be residents of St. Joseph County.
Be sure to bring a picture I.D. and social security card for everyone age 18 or older in the home; birth certificates for everyone through the age of 17 in the home; proof of income and proof of address.
Everyone who qualifies will receive food for a holiday meal and toys for kids.
The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign also kicks off November 9.
