ATV crash sends 13-year-old to the hospital

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. -- An accident Sunday in Middlebury sent a 13-year-old to the hospital.

It happened in Middlebury around 1:30 p.m. off the north side of CR 20 and east of CR 31.

Jackson Kenyon was driving a John Deere Gator when he lost control after hitting a bump.

The Gator hit a tree, throwing the passenger, 13-year-old Adam Hooley out of his seat.

Police say he suffered a possible concussion and complained of pain to both his legs.

Hooley was taken to Goshen IU Health for non-life threatening injuries.

Neither Kenyon nor Hooley were wearing helmets.
