Goshen schools have found someone to fill the shoes of the high school baseball coach who resigned suddenly last month.

The school board approved Josh Keister as head baseball coach. He is currently the recreation director at Goshen College, according to the college’s website.

The coaching job was left open when the former coach, Hal Farmwald, resigned abruptly in mid-September.

At the time, allegations swirled on social media accusing Farmwald of some kind of misconduct. But the district’s superintendent said later that Farmwald resigned for personal reasons and indicated that the rumors were inaccurate.
